Drinking smoothies made with whole, nutrient-dense ingredients is a great way to boost your health. The thick shake-type drinks make wonderful options for a meal replacement or a snack when made with natural items – sorry, not frozen yogurt.

Some people have the misconception that eating healthy means eating food that doesn’t taste good. This is not the case. Smoothies and meals prepared with healthful whole food ingredients can be incredibly delicious.

Your smoothies should be a pleasure to drink on top of being really good for you. When made properly they taste great, even green ones! You can start to incorporate green slowly by adding some spinach to your favourite fruit smoothie.

Remember, progress happens in steps, often small ones. It is much harder to succeed if you try and make too many changes at once. By doing a little bit at a time, like a smoothie for breakfast, you will build a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable over time. It’s better to focus more on adding new healthy foods to your diet, than only focusing on removing the unhealthy ones.

Green Tea Blueberry Smoothie

  • 1 Cup Almond Milk
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 tsp. Coconut Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Blueberries
  • 1 tsp. Matcha Green Tea
  • 1/4 Cup Spinach
  • 1 Scoop Protein Powder
  • Vanilla Extract to taste

Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

  • 1 Cup Almond Milk
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 tsp. Natural Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1 Scoop Vanilla/Unflavoured Protein Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

Beet & Strawberry Smoothie

  • 4 Beets, Cooked and Peeled
  • 2 Cups Unsweetened Coconut Water
  • 2 Cups Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 Lime, Juiced
  • 1 Scoop Vanilla/Unflavoured Protein Powder
